El proyecto Quercus Robur consiste en una serie de intervenciones en el paisaje de distintos puntos fronterizos del  histórico territorio de ‘Euskal Herria’.  El roble es el elemento central y estructurante de todas las acciones; como imagen de fuerza y perdurabilidad, y símbolo, también, de una identidad fundamentada en el euskera. La acción principal consiste en trasplantar tres robles procedentes de tres puntos distintos del territorio en el que se expande esta lengua: Navarra, la Comunidad Autónoma del País Vasco e Iparralde (País Vasco francés); Con el paso de los años  los robles  plantados  ejercerán una función de linde. Demarcarán  y harán visible, aunque de manera simbólica,  la línea fronteriza. Pero al mismo tiempo, unirán sus tierras con sus raíces.

Quercus Robur proiektua, Euskal Herriko lurralde historikoan zehar aurkitzen diren muga-puntu desberdinen paisaian egindako hainbat esku-hartzeetan datza. Haritza ekintza guztien elementu nagusi eta egituratzailea da; indar eta iraunkortasunaren irudi bezala, eta halaber, euskera hizkuntzan oinarritutako identitatearen ikur. Ekintza nagusia hizkuntza hau bizirik irauten duen lurraldeko hiru puntu desberdinetatik harturiko haritzak landatzean datza: Nafarroa, Euskal Autonomia Erkidegoa eta Iparraldea (frantziar Euskal Herria); Urteak pasa ahala landatutako haritzek mugarriaren funtzioa beteko dute. Modu sinboliko batez bada ere, muga-lerroa markatu eta adieraziko dute. Baina aldi berean euren lurraldeak batuko dituzte, euren sustraien bitartez.

The Quercus Robur project is a series of interventions on the landscape of several bordering spots in the historical territory of ‘Euskal Herria’. The oak tree represents the main element and structural component in all the actions, as a reflection of strength and durability and also as a symbol of an identity based on the euskera language. The main action involves transplanting three oak trees from three different spots within the region where this language still remains spoken: Navarra, the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country and Iparralde (French Basque Country). Over the years, the planted oak trees will become boundaries, demarcating and making visible a symbolic border line, but they will also make their territories come together by interweaving their roots.
