El sentimiento de contemplar el paraíso sin poder realmente hallarse en él, capturando la belleza en la sublimación estética de la tristeza. Así se concibe esta serie fotográfica de paisajes anti-paradisíacos. Más allá de su lectura ecológica o geopolítica se debería atender a su lectura arquitectónica; en estos paisajes se prescinde de la presencia humana directa pero no de la experiencia que supone su intervención. The feeling of seeing the paradise and not being able to reach it, capturing the beauty through the aesthetic sublimation of sorrow. That is the essence of this photographic series about anti-paradise landscapes. Beyond an environmental or geopolitical interpretation it is important to bear in mind an architectural reading; there is no direct human presence in these landscapes, yet the human intervention’s experience is perceived on them.
